Coventry City Centre is set to be transformed and we would value your opinion.

Shearer Property Group’s new proposals for CCS are designed to bring life back to the city, delivering beautiful public spaces, areas for community events and a dynamic new mix of shops, cafés, restaurants, bars, hotels, leisure options, entertainment and places to live.

Our aim is to create a socially and commercially successful district in which the people of Coventry can come together and enjoy spending time. CCS will change the way people experience the city centre, providing an environmentally friendly, welcoming and safe destination that embraces Coventry’s unique heritage.

Shearer Property Group wants to hear from you, the people who live, work and spend time in Coventry, as we work to create a new experience-led destination for the city centre.

Despite the challenges presented by COVID-19, we are committed to sharing our proposals and engaging with the local community to deliver a scheme that is truly fit for purpose.

Virtual consultation

To ensure we are able to get the views of as many different people as possible, we offer a variety of ways to provide feedback and request further information – you can choose from these options at the "Contact Us" section.

We will also be running a series of virtual presentations on the proposals, giving you a chance to ask questions. These will run on the following days:

An outline hybrid application

It is important to bear in mind that this is just the start of the planning process for CCS. The plans laid out here are for an outline hybrid planning application, which means we are applying for the principle of redeveloping the site through a mixture of residential, retail, leisure, office and community uses and new areas of public space, rather than specific details of the design of individual buildings and spaces. We will be coming back to seek further feedback on the detailed elements in the future as part of a series of separate consultation activities.
